Who we share your data with
Hoosier Daddy Oils utilizes third party services to process order payments and ship orders. During this process we share certain data with third party services such as Stripe Payment Processing. Stripe is a verified payment processing service that allows us to process online payments using credit or debit cards. In order to process orders, date such as your name, billing address, city, state, zip code, and credit card number are shared with Stripe. You can read more about Stripe’s privacy policy here.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or review, the comment or review and its metadata are retained indefinitely.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Inactive Accounts: Inactive accounts are accounts that have not logged in or placed an order within 12 months. After 12 months of being inactive, the account will be deleted and orders previously placed under that account will be converted to guest purchases. All personal information will be deleted.
Pending Orders: Pending orders are orders that have not yet been paid. Pending orders are deleted along with any attached personal data after 30 days if the order is not paid for.
Failed Orders: Failed orders are orders that have not been completed due to a failed payment method. Failed orders that are not paid within 30 days will be deleted along with any attached personal data.
Canceled, Completed, and Subscription Orders: Canceled, completed, and subscription orders are kept on the user’s account indefinitely unless a data erasure request is submitted by the customer.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments or reviews, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
